About Coorg
Coorg — or Kodagu as the locals call it — is nestled in the Western Ghats of Karnataka at an elevation of 900–1,750 metres. It's India's largest coffee-producing region, blanketed in aromatic estates, cardamom plantations, and ancient Kodava heritage sites.
Unlike the crowded hill stations of North India, Coorg retains a quiet, unhurried character. You'll wake up to mist rolling over coffee bushes, spend afternoons at roaring waterfalls, and end your day at a homestay porch listening to the jungle.
The Kodava people are known for their warmth and their cuisine — pandi curry, akki roti, and kadambuttu are non-negotiables. This is the kind of place that turns a 3-day trip into a lifelong love affair.
